You will begin your studies with an introduction to the foundations of control systems where you will have lectures and laboratory sessions on the following: Introductory Maths and MATLAB Control Systems Analysis and Design Digital Control Systems In the first semester, you will also learn about state-space, non-linear and optimal control as well as signal processing and estimation - the fundamentals of advanced systems and control engineering.
In the spring semester, you will have the opportunity to pick from a range of specialist modules. Students will begin working on their Control Systems Project and Dissertation in this semester.
