One of my earliest memories is sharing a small dish of vanilla ice cream with my grandfather, Orville Carl Saddoris. Chill is an homage to my favorite dessert in all its many forms and flavors. Originally released in , Chill was my first eBook and a project that I was—and still am—very proud of. It was an incredible learning experience, both in the making of the ice cream we made multiple iterations of every flavor and also in the actual production—lighting and photographing each flavor in order to make it look great in the few minutes we had before it started to melt. The book contains 33 flavors, ranging from new versions of classics like Vanilla Bean and Mint Chocolate Chunk, to delicious original flavors like Sucker Punch and Caramel Macchiato.

Apr 10, Summer rated it it was ok Shelves: Not as good as the first one. There are a few funny ones in here if you have a dark sense of humor, but I found a lot of these more mean-spirited than funny.
Jan 17, Airi rated it liked it. I'm not sure if I've ever read a more perverted, graphic, horribly ironic comic strip in my life.. XD Okay yeah, it was intense at times, but it's so worth the damage to your innocence!
It took me about an hour, probably less to read it cover to cover. May 02, Luke rated it really liked it. I laughed out loud several times and that's a good thing. The gags did start to wear thin or maybe they were less funny in the second half of the book. An enjoyable read. Well that didn't strike me as funny. This set of comics did not resonate with me like some of their earlier work. I definitely didn't feel comfortable reading a few of these.

Nov 08, Carina rated it really liked it Shelves: I'm really surprised I've never read and reviewed this book on the 5 years I have been on this site I'd swear I'd read it in that time, but apparently not This was a Secret Santa gift from my manager at a previous company, who sadly gave it away a few months later , and this is still considered by me as one of the most genius Secret Santa gifts I have ever got as I still have no idea how he knew I was a fan of the online comics!
Cyani I'm really surprised I've never read and reviewed this book on the 5 years I have been on this site Cyanide and Happiness is an online comic that doesn't pull its punches, so if you are easily offended I doubt you'd enjoy this. Some of the jokes in here are definitely on the side of very very black humour.
Though the Jockey one is totally worth a mention I checked this book out of my local joint-use library and I really didn't know that it was in book form. I remember reading this online when I was younger and still do.
The humor is great and interesting. Although, some might think otherwise.
No judging and I understand. It really lives up to its unexpected twists and ending of comics. I still like them to this day and read them every now and then.
I never get tired of cyanide and happiness comics and its animations as well. Also, the last three I checked this book out of my local joint-use library and I really didn't know that it was in book form.
Also, the last three pages were informative about its creators. It was easy and simple to read through.
Some I have not read before and I still love the artwork of the comics. Sep 14, Sharon kong added it Shelves: Cyanise and Happiness was written in and is a picture book. Mar 29, Mahima Kohli rated it really liked it. Just one word - savage.
Made my night. Dec 30, Kerrie rated it liked it. Not for the easily offended. The new collection of "Cyanide and Happiness" comics does just what you would expect it to do if you read the webcomic - shock you into submission with its dark, twisted, vile, unexpected or simply scatological or gross or even just merely depressing endings to what seem like normal comic strip setups.
There's nothing in here you'd probably want your grandmother to read, unless you already know she likes the strip, which reads like Gary Larson on a mean drunk bender. To be honest, reading the The new collection of "Cyanide and Happiness" comics does just what you would expect it to do if you read the webcomic - shock you into submission with its dark, twisted, vile, unexpected or simply scatological or gross or even just merely depressing endings to what seem like normal comic strip setups.
To be honest, reading the rather unrelenting if usually well-played shock humor palls a bit. This is an awl-to-the-eyeball best taken an inch or two at a time. This is one of those books that I feel horrible about laughing through, but they really do manage to be funny within their over-the-top crassness and disgusting topics.
Not for the easily offended, and possibly not even for the moderately offended. But if you're able to This is one of those books that I feel horrible about laughing through, but they really do manage to be funny within their over-the-top crassness and disgusting topics. But if you're able to set aside societal norms, you will laugh at this. A lot.
Oct 12, C. Varn rated it really liked it. It somehow manages to do this while staying fairly unserious and "light-hearted" in an extremely dark comic. The crude art actually helps play against tone. A few of the strips are lack luster and some of the "meta-gags" are done better elsewhere, but it is enjoyable. Jul 08, Matt Gallant rated it it was amazing. Nevertheless, these comics will make anyone with a very open sense of humor chuckle and keep turning the page to read the next one.
This took me no longer than half an hour to read and I'm hoping to find more of these little collections to read soon.
Adults with a sense of humor. This is by far the best comic book strip I have read since Garfield's comic book strips. It was a very hilarious and amusing read. This book is not appropriate for kids at all. It has that adult humor that makes you die in laughter. A great read, it took me a little over an hour to finish because I read it at work but it was so good.
This is something you can read over and over again. Nov 30, aaron rated it it was amazing Shelves: May 27, Brandin E rated it really liked it Shelves: This is a collection of some of their comics and it's as funny in print as it is on the internet. If you've enjoyed their antics online I absolutely recommend this book. The one thing that sets it apart is that there are even little "Activities" in the back like a connect the dots with only two dots and other silly yet amusing things.
Definitely worth the money. Jan 02, Kricket rated it really liked it Recommended to Kricket by: Sarah Jones. As many people, I was inspired by their exploits shown on the internet to download this book.
Every page is full of humor.
